A police officer from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, while on vacation, spotted a wanted man on one of the city’s streets. The officer detained the 44-year-old and then notified the duty officer at the Bolesławiec police headquarters, who sent a patrol to the scene.
The detainee is a 44-year-old resident of Bolesławiec wanted on three warrants by the District Court in Bolesławiec (for burglary) and by the District Court in Wałbrzych (for theft and failing to return to a correctional facility).
The man now faces at least 13 months in prison.
