Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested two men suspected of breaking into a property and stealing two batteries several hours earlier. After searching the premises occupied by the suspects, the police recovered the stolen property.

In the course of further activities, officers established that the detainees had committed two more offenses several days earlier. The 24- and 32-year-old men were additionally charged with stealing batteries from an excavator, as well as breaking into a workshop and stealing, among other things, power tools. The total losses were estimated at nearly PLN 15,000.

The police also arrested a fence, a 42-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka commune. In his apartment, they found power tools originating from the break-in at the workshop.

The burglars face up to 10 years in prison, while the fence faces up to 5 years behind bars.
