On January 30, police officers from Bogatynia conducted an operation targeting people suspected of property-related crimes. During the operation, they identified a suspect in a break-in at a tobacco shop that had taken place several days earlier. He turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of Bogatynia. The perpetrator took, among other things, money and cigarettes.

Moreover, the officers established that the man had another burglary on his record. It took place at the beginning of January this year. The 25-year-old broke into a haberdashery, stealing 10 sets of bed linen.

In total, the detainee caused losses amounting to nearly 5,000 zlotys. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
