Police officers gave the youngest patients stuffed animals, games and various kinds of books. Someone might say that they are just toys. However, the smiles they bring to the children’s little faces are priceless.
As every year, asp. Karolina Hawrylciów took on the role of Blue Santa. The police Santa travelled on December 22 with gifts for the youngest hospital patients.
“Our campaign was a great success, as many residents of our county responded to the officers’ appeal,” the police officers say. “It brought a tear to our eyes when small children came to the station with their parents and handed over their beloved stuffed animals, waving goodbye to them.”
