The sixtieth wedding anniversary was celebrated by Mr and Mrs Aleksandra and Eugeniusz Czarnotowie. Mr and Mrs Maria and Henryk Małkowie, as well as Janina and Mieczysław Sulikowscy, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
“Fifty years, and especially sixty years of uninterrupted, harmonious married life, are significant anniversaries. They are anniversaries that inspire human emotion, the respect and recognition of friends and all people who understand the important role played by the family. The durability of the family, the shared concern for existence, raising children and fulfilling civic duties toward the Homeland mean a great deal to society,” said, among other things, the president of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, during the ceremony.
The distinguished celebrants were honored with diplomas and medals for long-lasting married life. The ceremony at the Wedding Palace was also an opportunity for the spouses to express their thanks for mutual love, attachment and care.
The ceremony was attended by numerous guests—children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, acquaintances and friends. There was also a celebratory toast, congratulations, and wishes for health and prosperity.
The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by students of the State Music School in Bolesławiec.
