Over the course of two days, 20 volleyball matches were played. The tournament began with tough encounters for our volleyball players against firefighters from Opole Voivodeship and prison service officers from Radom, but both matches ended in a 2:0 victory for the 10BKPanc team. This secured our representatives’ place in the semifinals. There, our volleyball players faced the 7th Coastal Defence Brigade, defeating their opponents 2:0, with set scores of 25:18 and 25:14.
In the final, the armored soldiers once again had to face the team from Radom. The first set ended with a defeat for our team (19:25), but in the following sets—after a hard-fought contest—the 10BKPanc soldiers were better (25:22, 25:20, 25:23) and won the entire match 3:1.
Our volleyball players also received individual awards: senior private Paweł Rutkowski was named best libero, private Adrian Milczarek was named best attacker, and private Jakub Radomski was selected as the tournament’s best player.
