On 11–12 December 2015, the European Powerlifting Championships of the WPA Federation were held at the sports hall at 21 Skorupki Street in Łódź. This competition of such stature was held in Poland for the first time. More than 300 strength athletes from 12 countries took part in this prestigious sporting event.
One of the competitors was Police Inspector Przemysław Kozioł from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica.
The Head of the Staff had no equal in the bench press and deadlift. In the 40–44 age category, he won the title of European Champion.
