Members of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze (BTG) elected the organization’s new leadership at Thursday’s meeting. Kazimierz Marczewski was elected president of BTG for another term. The association’s board also includes: Jarosław Rutyna (vice president), Władysław Bakalarz (secretary), Janina Majewska (treasurer), and board members Krzysztof Gwizdała, Elżbieta Śliwko, Helena Hałas, Józefa Witas and Barbara Alaszewska.
A new Audit Committee was also elected: Grzegorz Owczarkowski (chairman), Kazimiera Zwierz and Edward Kaput; as well as a Peer Court: Stanisław Wiza (chairman), Danuta Ber and Andrzej Nowicki.
The meeting devoted considerable time to the association’s cooperation with the city. Municipal subsidies have been declining for several years, so BTG is considering other sources of revenue.
