We wrote about Jolanta Koźmin’s passion in the article “Gallery on the Fence of a Third Age University Student”. Her gallery was created out of a passion for and fascination with art. “If it weren’t for the University of the Third Age, I would never have started painting,” says Jolanta. “I wouldn’t have known that it was in my head, and now I’ve been painting for a year and a half.” The author of several dozen works created the gallery for herself and her neighbors.

Now, “Gallery on the Fence” has changed its name to “Gallery on the Stairs,” and this is where the inaugural meeting will be held for people who, like Jolanta, want to discover various passions within themselves. The classes will be free and held regularly every Friday (painting classes); literature classes will take place every two weeks.

“I can’t teach painting,” says the amateur artist, “but I can help people become comfortable with paints, fall in love with colors and create for their own pleasure.”
