Officers from the police station in Kruszyn, as a result of operational activities, detained the perpetrator of a burglary and the theft of a cash box. The incident occurred on October 10 this year in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality.
According to the police, the 22-year-old man broke into a service establishment and then stole a cash box. The losses were estimated at more than PLN 2,000.
In addition, officers from Warta Bolesławiecka proved that the detainee had committed two further crimes of this type. The suspect also broke into a basement, from which he stole a cable and a drill, and into a car, taking power tools. In total, the losses caused by the 22-year-old’s criminal activities were estimated at nearly PLN 3,500.
The man confessed to the acts he was charged with. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
