Over the course of four days, a very large number of drivers took to the roads, travelling to cemeteries throughout the country. On the roads of Zgorzelec County and in the vicinity of cemeteries, as well as within the cemeteries themselves, road traffic, preventive and criminal police officers watched over the safety of those visiting graves.
The most important information is that no road accident occurred on the roads of Zgorzelec County. However, there were 10 road collisions. Moreover, police officers inspected nearly 300 vehicles. Unfortunately, despite numerous warnings and the threat of severe penalties, police officers detained 5 drivers who were under the influence of alcohol and 3 who were under the influence of drugs. In addition, the registration certificates of 30 drivers were confiscated because of the technical condition of the vehicles they were driving.
