This is a recurring event that has become a permanent fixture in the municipal events calendar. The chess players competed in three age categories: primary school, middle school and open. The proper course of the Championships was supervised by chief referee Romuald Jankiewicz; Maciej Felczyński was responsible for the technical and organizational aspects.Maciej Felczyński.

  • Marta Szewczyk from Wykroty – primary school category, girls
  • Maciej Stupiec from Czerna – primary school category, boys
  • Jagoda Kupracz from Bolesławiec – middle school category, girls
  • Marcel Sas from Bolesławiec – middle school category, boys
  • Grażyna Stroczyńska from Gościszów – open category, women
  • Jakub Kaczmarczyk from Lubin – open category, men.

A total of 21 competitors from Wykroty, Czerna, Gościszów, Bolesławiec, Wartowice, Żeliszów and Lubin took part in the competition.

During the competition, participants could view an exhibition of chess-themed artwork by Martyna Świca from Bolesławiec.
