Law and Justice and Civic Platform have triumphed. The first committee won the election in the city (8 seats), while the second won in the county (7 seats, or 9 together with the allied PSL). Ziemia Bolesławiecka won 5 seats on each of the two councils. The Democratic Left Alliance won 3 seats on the City Council and 2 seats on the County Council. The Civic Committee of Bolesławiec Residents, the League of Polish Families, and Trade and Crafts did not secure seats for any of their candidates on either council.

Boleslawiec.org was the first service in Bolesławiec's history to conduct an exit poll during an election. We published some of the results on Sunday shortly before 9:00 p.m. As it turned out, we identified the level of support for the incumbent mayor of the city perfectly. The results for the other candidates differed only slightly from the official figures. In the elections to the city and county councils, the discrepancies were greater. We now know that people voted for names, not committees, and therefore later had trouble telling the interviewer the name of the committee they had voted for.
