Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec identified and arrested a man suspected of committing burglary. The incident occurred in the Osiecznica municipality. The perpetrator broke into outbuildings and stole a quad bike and two bicycles. The owner estimated the losses at more than PLN 1,200.
The quad bike was found shortly after the report in a nearby forest; the vehicle had been hidden in the bushes. The officers then arrested the man suspected of burglary. He turned out to be a 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The officers also recovered one of the stolen bicycles.
The 30-year-old admitted his guilt. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
