Honorata Magdeczko-Capote, Ryszard Wojnarowski, Paweł Sikora and Krzysztof Rogacewicz will be able to look back on, among other things, their impressive educational achievements. It was Teatr Maska that once used spectacular performances to persuade school students to take an interest in the art of successive periods— the Enlightenment, the Renaissance, the Baroque…

There were also some amusing incidents, including one during a performance about the Renaissance and the work of Leonardo da Vinci, presented at the now-closed Gencjana club. Wanting to encourage the audience to participate in the performance, Honorata Magdeczko prompted them: “Leonardo… Leonardo… please tell me his surname, because I’ve forgotten…” “Di Caprio!” the entire room roared with one voice, because “Titanic” had just appeared on cinema screens, so da Vinci had no chance in the competition.

But in October 2015, the anniversary will be celebrated with “The Double Bass,” performed by Krzysztof Rogacewicz at the ODK headquarters in Zabobrze, which has “always” been a good haven for Teatr Maska.

We will return to this subject.
