Coach Dariusz Łomański: “We can proudly say that the Bolesławiec club finished its first season in 14th place, among the 16 best athletics clubs in the senior category, and will also compete in the top division next season.”

Competitions in the athletics league consist of a series of events in which individual and relay results are converted into points. These points determine the club’s position in the league competition.

The first Ekstraklasa competition was held on 30 May in Biała Podlaska, where our athletes finished 14th. For the next event in the series, the Bolesławiec athletes had to travel to Kraków on 12 September. Despite the absence—for various reasons—of several of the club’s leading female and male athletes, the Bolesłavia team finished fourteenth and will therefore also begin next season in the Ekstraklasa of the Senior Athletics League.
