Ten Volunteer Fire Brigade units took part in the competition. Two events were held. One was a 7 x 50 m firefighting relay (in each of the seven sections, participants had to perform a specific firefighting-related task). The other was the so-called combat exercise. At the referee’s signal, the team representing an OSP unit completes, against the clock, a typical water line from a water tank to two firefighting positions. This line is practically as long as an entire football pitch. Using a motor pump, the firefighters must force water to the ends of two firefighting lines.

The judging committee was appointed by the district commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Senior Brigadier Grzegorz Kocon. Final standings:

  1. OSP Nowogrodziec
  2. OSP Trzebień
  3. OSP Jurków
  4. tied: OSP Ocice and OSP Różyniec
  5. OSP Parowa
  6. OSP Wierzbowa
  7. OSP Zebrzydowa
  8. OSP Raciborowice
  9. OSP Ławszowa.
