In the apartment of a 40-year-old Legnica resident, police officers secured more than 30 litres of spirits in plastic bottles, more than 11 kg of tobacco without Polish excise stamps, and 420 packs of cigarettes bearing Belarusian excise stamps. It was estimated that the loss of excise tax to the State Treasury could have amounted to nearly PLN 17,000.
The 40-year-old faces up to 3 years in prison and hefty fines.
