The fourth memorial tournament dedicated to Andrzej Ślęk, a well-known footballer and president of Burza Górzyn, has come to an end. During the competition, which lasted more than four hours, the best players were determined. The top scorer was Marcin Śliwa from Chobienia, who earned the title by scoring as many as five goals. Maciej Cholewa was named the best goalkeeper, while the title of the tournament’s best player went to Dawid Leżak (both are from Mleczno).
The trophies were presented to the winners by Adrian Ślęk – the son of Andrzej Ślęk in his private life – together with his wife. The awards were funded by Rudna Municipality head Władysław Bigus, the Cultural Centre in Rudna, as well as Manfred Garncarek and Marek Wysocki.
