– Police officers from the Lubin police headquarters detained a man suspected of damaging the entrance door to one of the galleries in Lubin. Moments earlier, the perpetrator had been caught by security staff while carrying an angle grinder through the security gates, reports asp. szt. Sylwia Serafin, press officer of the District Police Headquarters.
And she explains:
The man became upset about this, and therefore, while leaving the gallery building, deliberately damaged the entrance door by kicking it. He then attempted to leave the premises.
He was detained outside by police officers. The 37-year-old, who caused losses of more than PLN 5,000, now faces a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
