The concert truly went to people’s heads, like excellent Greek wine. Eleni’s beautiful voice, superb arrangements and poetic lyrics brought back the most beautiful and important moments in our lives – first loves, encounters with a beloved person, longing for love and the joy of being in a relationship.
“You will find me, together with dusk in the first light of fluorescent lamps I will be there; all you need is to want it very much,” Eleni sang, and the audience joined in, because all we need for happiness is just a little earth, a little heart, and artists who, as beautifully as on Saturday, will sing out these modest longings of ours. The audience gave the singer and her band a standing ovation.
