The arrest took place in Kochlice after officers received information from one of the drivers, whose delivery van had been hit by a brick. The vehicle has a smashed window in the front door and damaged bodywork. The losses were estimated at PLN 1,000.
The police also received a report from another driver, at whom the arrested man had thrown a piece of brick.
The arrested 24-year-old is a resident of Legnica. He was placed in the Psychiatric Hospital in Złotoryja. Under the Criminal Code, causing the danger of a disaster in land traffic is punishable by up to 8 years in prison.
