The ceremonial assembly began with a report submitted to the regiment commander, Colonel Paweł Świtalski by the chief of staff, Lieutenant Colonel Sławomir Kula.

After the Polish flag was raised and the national anthem was played, the commander of the Bolesławiec artillerymen spoke. Addressing the four hundred preparatory-service recruits after just a few days spent in the barracks, he emphasized the role and importance of military service in ensuring national security, as well as the training tasks planned for the preparatory-service soldiers in the coming period. Referring to the presentation of weapons—an attribute of a soldier—he drew attention to their symbolism:

Receiving your weapons is not merely the completion of your military equipment. Weapons symbolize valor, military discipline, courage and security. Remember this throughout your military service and take proper care of them, observing safety rules during training.

After symbolically presenting weapons and military booklets to representatives of three training companies, the regiment commander congratulated them on the distinction, while wishing them success in training and perseverance in acquiring knowledge. To commemorate this symbolic moment, he honored the soldiers with commemorative “coins.”

After the “Representative Song of the Polish Armed Forces” was played and the honor guard company was dismissed, the subunits began their scheduled training. The remaining soldiers received their weapons from their company commanders during assemblies held in the training subunits.
