This new सुविधा will enable taxpayers to handle their matters not only at their own tax office, but also at selected locations throughout the country. In addition to tax matters, the centers will also accept selected documents relating to ZUS and excise duty.
Until now, taxpayers could handle matters only at their own tax office, depending on their place of residence or registered office. This was particularly inconvenient for those who worked or studied far from home. Obtaining, for example, a certificate could require a journey of several hundred kilometers. From September, a visit to one of 50 service centers will be enough.
At the service centers, Tax Administration employees will accept applications and declarations, issue certificates, and inform taxpayers about their rights and obligations.
The centers will make it easier for entrepreneurs, particularly the smallest ones, to access the services of the Tax Administration, Customs Service and Social Insurance Institution. In addition to matters previously handled by tax offices, entrepreneurs will be able to, among other things:
- submit simplified declarations for the intra-Community acquisition of passenger cars under AKC-U or obtain confirmation of excise duty payment
- submit insurance documents (registration and settlement documents).
At computer stations in the service centers, taxpayers will have access to the Ministry of Finance tax portal and ePUAP, and will be able to register a business.
The operation of the centers will be standardized, meaning that taxpayers will be able to use the same solutions at each of them and receive service according to uniform standards.
The service centers are one of many new solutions being introduced as part of the Taxpayer Service and Support System.
The creation of additional centers and the continuous development of the services they provide are planned for the future.
