The enlistment will take place as part of the third training session for preparatory-service soldiers for the ranks corps in 2015, conducted at Training Centres and selected units throughout the country. Among the units of the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry Division, this task will be carried out by the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.
In the first days of September, 400 volunteers will enter the Bolesławiec barracks (200 each on 1 and 2 September), and will undergo military training for the next four months.
The training will be conducted on the basis of the newly established training battalion, commanded by Lt Col Tomasz Lisiecki, while the personnel preparing the volunteers for service in the National Reserve Forces will be experienced soldiers from the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, the 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade, the 17th Greater Poland Mechanized Brigade and the 4th Zielona Góra Anti-Aircraft Regiment.
The soldiers' training has been divided into two stages. The first is basic training, lasting three months. After successfully passing the assessment, the trainees will proceed to the next stage—a one-month specialist training course.
During this time, volunteers may submit applications to military units to conclude contracts for performing duties within the National Reserve Forces.
