It was an eventful weekend in Bolesławiec County. The most serious accident occurred on Sunday (August 30) at around 2:00 p.m. at the airfield in Krzywa. The 21-year-old was riding a motorcycle at excessive speed when he went off the road. The man suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries. He was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Legnica in serious condition. We learned that the 21-year-old did not have a motorcycle license.

On Friday (August 28), on Dolne Młyny Street near the viaduct, a 24-year-old driving a BMW failed to yield the right of way to a 52-year-old motorcyclist. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with a broken leg.

After midnight (from Friday into Saturday), another incident occurred. This time, two passenger cars collided on national road No. 94. The collision was also caused by failure to yield the right of way. Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries in the incident.

On August 30, at around 3:00 a.m., at the intersection of Staszica and Góralska streets, a 34-year-old woman driving a Renault failed to yield the right of way to a 27-year-old man driving a Mercedes. The vehicles collided. The woman’s driving license was seized for causing a road traffic hazard.
