She had been carrying out the thefts since March this year. She chose bicycles left in stairwells or other places. At least 10 bicycles fell victim to her.
As a result of operational work, police officers from the criminal division of the Lubin police headquarters arrested the suspect. She turned out to be a 20-year-old woman from Lubin.
As established, the woman did not disdain any bicycle left unattended—even securing the vehicle with a special cable did not help. She sold the stolen property and spent the money on her own needs.
She now faces up to five years in prison.
