The pedestrian collision occurred on Sunday (23 August) on Kubika Street. The man stepped onto the road directly in front of an approaching Toyota passenger car. The pedestrian was taken to hospital. The car driver was sober. Kubika Street is currently blocked. Firefighters and police are at the scene.
