The incident occurred on Sunday before noon. A passenger car, probably driven by a woman, hit a small bridge, fell into the river and landed on its roof. Five people were travelling in the car. They all managed to get out of the vehicle because there was no water in the river. The most seriously injured person was taken away by helicopter, while the others were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. The people travelling in the car are residents of Gromadka.
