At the morning assembly, brigadier general Maciej Jabłoński stood before the personnel of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade for the first time wearing the general’s “snake” insignia on his shoulder straps.
In his address to the troops, the general emphasized the contribution and importance of the soldiers’ daily efforts to his success:
As you know, two days ago I received my general’s nomination from the president. Therefore, I would like to sincerely thank you—the entire personnel of the Brigade. Today, as a commander who has been nominated to the rank of general, standing before such a magnificent brigade, I can tell you all without hesitation that my shoulder straps and my trouser stripes were carried there, to the Belweder Palace, on the tracks of your tanks, but also on infantry fighting vehicles, command vehicles, howitzers, anti-aircraft systems, KTO Rosomaks, reconnaissance vehicles, and the overhead cranes in the maintenance hall—for all of this, I thank you once again from the bottom of my heart.
Our heartfelt congratulations to Brigadier General Maciej Jabłoński!
