As part of the “Safe Holidays” campaign, officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec visited the girl scouts at their camp in Trzebień Mały (Bolesławiec gmina). The meeting was educational and informative.

The police officers reminded the young people enjoying their holiday about safety rules during swimming and hiking trips, as well as about appropriate conduct when dealing with strangers. They also pointed out the dangers that young people may encounter during the summer holidays.

Special attention in the conversations with the scouts was devoted to the dangers associated with taking so-called legal highs. The officers also discussed legal and criminal liability related to using substances prohibited by law.

During the meeting, the police officers handed out reflective items, particularly useful during hikes, as well as signal whistles.
