On Thursday at noon, the school students visited the Volunteer Fire Service station in Ruszów. Members of the Youth Firefighting Brigade and senior firefighters acted as hosts.
The guests toured the station and learned about firefighting equipment and supplies, as well as the alarm system and the organisation of fire protection in our country.
The guests had the most fun taking a short ride in fire engines, trying on firefighters’ helmets, and testing their skills with a water backpack and aiming the stream of water at a target (special spouts).
