The Bolesławiec Land Local Government Forum, represented among others by the mayor Piotr Roman, selected its candidate on Thursday for the by-election to the City Council. The election must be held because one of the councillors, Alojzy Skóra, has died.
The primary election was contested by Wojciech Kasprzyk, Jacek Piesek and Małgorzata Tutak. Wojciech Kasprzyk received the most votes in the secret ballot.
The following candidates will therefore compete for Alojzy Skóra’s seat: Mirosław Sakowski, Bogusław Nowak, Piotr Hetel and Wojciech Kasprzyk.
The election will be held on 13 September, alongside the referendum.
