The arrest took place on June 28, at around 11:55 a.m., in Lubin. Officers stopped an Audi for inspection. It turned out that its driver—a 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec—was banned from driving vehicles. What is more, during the inspection, the officers noticed a distinctive smell. It emerged that the man was transporting two pots containing cannabis plants.
The 27-year-old man from Bolesławiec explained that he had argued with his girlfriend and taken all his belongings from her. He had not forgotten about the plants he had grown himself, either.
He now faces up to three years in prison for violating the ban. The man will also be held responsible for possessing drugs.
