The following soldiers left the brigade: Lieutenant Robert Pędras – deputy company commander in the mechanized battalion; Second Lieutenant Grzegorz Trawiński – platoon commander in the repair company of the logistics battalion; Warrant Officer Andrzej Wdowiak – commander of the command platoon in the command company of the mechanized battalion; Sergeant Andrzej Radzimski – squad commander and section commander in the mechanized battalion; and Sergeant Krzysztof Świętanowski – optoelectronics technician in the tank battalion.
Some of the departing soldiers are saying goodbye to the uniform for good, while others, such as Lieutenant Robert Pędras, plan to begin service in other units but appreciate the values and skills acquired during their service to date: “I would like to thank the commanders and soldiers for the difficult, demanding, but also extraordinarily rewarding service in the 10th Brigade. Above all, I thank the 1st Mechanized Company, with which I spent 99% of my time, for two missions in Afghanistan, as well as its commander, Captain Bochnacki, who taught me everything I know and can do today. I sincerely thank all my colleagues.”
The brigade has lost several specialists. “The brigade is losing good soldiers today. Most of those leaving the ranks of the 10BKPanc today are valuable officers and non-commissioned officers with the potential to become excellent specialists in their fields. The rest are trained professionals. On behalf of the commander of the 10BKPanc and myself, I thank you for your service in the 10th Brigade. I can only wish you all the best in your new positions and assure you that a return to Świętoszów is always possible,” said Colonel Dariusz Nawrocki, deputy commander of the brigade.
“I wish all of you success, both those hanging up their uniforms and those moving on to other positions. To the latter I say: make the most of your new positions; to those going into the reserve, I wish you satisfaction with your decision and no regrets. You have given this brigade many years of hard work, your experience and your passion. For that, I thank you,” said Major Wojciech Strzelecki, the superior of three of the five soldiers being bid farewell.
We wish success to all soldiers beginning service in new units and to those who have left the uniform behind.
