A 71-year-old man from Bolesławiec, driving a Fiat from the direction of Kraśnik, failed to give way to a 33-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, who was driving a Mercedes. A front-side collision occurred. The Fiat ended up on the tracks.
The incident was classified as a collision. The 33-year-old woman was not injured, but was taken to hospital for observation because she is pregnant. The Mercedes passenger was also unharmed.
The driver responsible for the collision had his driving licence confiscated. The case will be decided in court.
