An unfortunate accident occurred on Monday, June 22, at a construction site near the military unit in Bolesławiec. During earthworks, one of the men threw a rod without checking whether anyone was nearby. The rod pierced another man's head.
The seriously injured worker was transported by an air ambulance helicopter to a hospital in Legnica. Firefighters from the Bolesławiec State Fire Service secured the helicopter's landing and takeoff. The police are determining the details of the unfortunate accident.
