Beautiful, sunny weather and a wealth of attractions prepared for the Children's Day picnic ensured wonderful entertainment for all participants. The organizers prepared many fitness and art competitions and integration games for the children. The youngest participants flocked to the inflatable trampolines and sweet stalls. Individual and family competitions were held at the same time, with participants receiving attractive prizes. The competitions and games were led by Lieutenant Justyna Goguł and Senior Private Iwona Skrobuk-Jadach, who won the children's affection throughout the picnic.

The military character of the picnic was emphasized by shooting competitions. At the mini shooting ranges, visitors could test their skills in shooting pneumatic weapons and ASG replicas. Soldiers from the demining patrol, in addition to presenting specialist sappers' equipment, informed the youngest participants and their parents about the dangers posed by unexploded ordnance and the rules to follow after finding it. The event was rounded out by demonstrations and rides on a vintage BMW R75 motorcycle from World War II.

There were competitions with prizes, face painting, plenty of music and dancing, and various treats. The festive atmosphere also spread to the parents, who were happy to join their children. As usual, the food stand offered bigos, military pea soup and grilled dishes. There were also cold drinks, which, alongside the “water wall,” proved very popular given the high temperature and the proverbial “heat pouring down from the sky.”

Beautiful weather and the multitude of attractions drew around 200 participants. As in previous years, the organizers once again rose to the occasion. And, as befits Children's Day, they provided the youngest participants with plenty of fun and joy. At the end, the children received packages of sweets donated by the regiment's soldiers.
