Police officers from the Criminal Division of the Lubin District Police Headquarters, who investigate crimes against property, had been working on the case since the first report of a cellar burglary (in January this year). Since then, Lubin police had received further reports of thefts. The perpetrator stole everything that fell into his hands: bicycles, tools and flashlights. He did not even turn down… drawers. The losses caused by his activities amounted to more than PLN 36,000.

The man was detained. As he told police officers, he knew that sooner or later he would go to prison for his actions, so he decided to collect money in advance for his stay there. That is why he quickly sold all the items he managed to steal.

The 32-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
