The musical style of Free Breath can be described as a blend of crossover funk and old-school soul jazz. It also includes elements of traditional funk and rock. The group’s current style refers to the aesthetics of the “revival wave”, the so-called jam rock. Free Breath’s music thus combines old-school funk, blues, jazz, rock and the authentic atmosphere of the improvisational music of the 1960s and 1970s.

At their concerts, audiences can hear both the band’s compositions and renowned “classics” of the genre. The group has performed at many prestigious festivals in Ukraine and other European countries, including: Alfa Jazz Fest (2013), Jazz Bezz (2011), Flyhery Lvova (2009, 2010, 2012, 2015), Fort.Missia (2010) and Cherkasy Jazztage (2015).

In 2010, the band released its debut album, “Lehke”. In 2015, their first EP was made available on the Spanish online channel Kalma Records.
