"The Military in Our City" was the slogan under which the festival was organized by the Military Family Association and the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade. The event began at noon in heavy rain. In such conditions, the tents prepared by the military proved indispensable. People could shelter beneath them and calmly eat pea soup or sausages. Fortunately, the sun came out later.
The festival program included, among other things, a demonstration by a military police intervention group, a performance by the "Canon" dance group, a performance by a vocal group from the Youth Cultural Centre with the integration club in Bolesławiec, a demonstration by the Fire Service rescue team, and a concert by the municipal orchestra.
While the stage was the central point for some, others spent hours testing military equipment. An artillery gun, firearms, optical equipment and communications equipment were presented. There were also military competitions, such as grenade throwing and target shooting.
The event was covered by Telewizja Lokalna "Azart-Sat" and the Boleslawiec.org website. The festival received co-financing from the Ministry of National Defence.
