It turned out that the 35-year-old driver was completely drunk. A test showed more than 1.8 per mille of alcohol in his system. What is more, it emerged that the man was subject to a court-ordered driving ban and was wanted on a warrant (he is to serve a 16-month prison sentence).
The man was taken into police custody. Once he sobers up, he will be transported to prison. He faces up to three years in prison.
