During the May holiday weekend, officers from the Jelenia Góra traffic police issued fines to 257 drivers, including 5 motorcyclists, mainly for reckless driving, overtaking across double solid lines or ignoring traffic lights. In addition, officers seized 16 registration certificates due to various technical defects.
There were 15 collisions on our roads (fortunately, there were no accidents).
In addition, police officers detained 7 intoxicated drivers. What is more, on 2 May (at approximately 11:40 p.m.) in Cieplice, officers apprehended a resident of Karpacz who was driving despite being subject to a court-imposed driving ban.
