The Knights’ May Day Weekend is the largest event of its kind in the region. Every year, tens of thousands of visitors come to Kliczków, where they can not only travel back in time and try their hand at knightly competitions, but also buy jewellery and artefacts from the period or sample delicious dishes. This year’s novelty will be a grand tasting of pierogi at the castle’s Ducal Farm. Visitors will be able to try, among other things, nettle pierogi and grilled meats, including peczenica made according to an original Balkan recipe. Every hour, a prize lottery will be held within the castle complex.
Visitors to the castle park can look forward to falconry displays, whip-shooting demonstrations and a grand battle for the castle at the end of the day. The organisers from Kliczków Castle have also thought of the youngest visitors, who can enjoy a specially prepared funfair with a slide, bouncy castle and Eurobungee.
