May 1 at  11:00 in the auditorium of Kino FORUM, we invite you to a concert by pianist Zuzanna Sejbuk. The programme will include works by Chopin, Beethoven and Albéniz, among others. The event is held as part of the “Chopin Effect” series organised by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. Tickets are available at the Kino FORUM box office.

May 2, on Flag Day of the Republic of Poland, let us meet at 12:00 at Bolesławiec Market Square. Soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, the “Bolesławiec” Municipal Brass Band and banner guards will take part in the ceremony.

At 12:30, at the Piast Gate, a ceremonial unveiling will be held of a commemorative plaque dedicated to the outstanding artist Mieczysław Żołądź (an event organised by the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec). After the ceremony, we invite you to the Wedding Palace for a screening of archival materials and presentations devoted to the artist.

May 3, we will commemorate the 235th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of May 3. At 10:30, a solemn Mass for the Homeland will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help followed by a procession to the Monument to the Centenary of Regaining Independence and a ceremonial roll call.

The day will culminate in an event in the auditorium of Kino FORUM, beginning at 12:40. The programme includes a lecture by Paweł Wcisło, a student of I LO in Bolesławiec, devoted to the Constitution of May 3, 1791; patriotic songs performed by Dominika Pietrzak, Wiktoria Eliaszewicz and Oliwia Janiec; and a piano concert by Andrzej Wierciński as part of the “Chopin Effect” series. Tickets can be collected at the Kino FORUM box office.
