On Friday, three passenger cars collided on road no. 4 in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. The Mercedes driver rear-ended a Volkswagen Golf, which then collided with an oncoming Volkswagen Passat. A police officer driving the Golf was injured in the accident. He was taken to hospital.
The driver responsible for the accident and the Passat driver were sober. Blood was taken from the injured police officer from the Golf for testing for the presence of alcohol.
(own report, corrected – earlier we reported that the police officer was driving the Mercedes)
