It will take place on Monday, 27 April at the Municipal Cultural Centre in Zgorzelec. It begins at 3:00 p.m..
The meeting is being held on the initiative of the Transborder Network for Social Work Association GÜSA e.V. Görlitz, in cooperation with the Interclub Femina Association and the Zgorzelec Youth Council.
The main topic of the Civic Café will be opportunities for young people to study at secondary schools and higher-education institutions in Germany.
Schools from Görlitz, including Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz, will explain the requirements for being selected from among other candidates, as well as the costs incurred by pupils and students when undertaking education in Germany.
During the meeting, we will also learn what support the schools offer, what skills pupils and students gain, and what opportunities they have after completing their education.
Representatives of the schools will also provide individual information and advice to interested people at their tables. The following institutions will have information and exhibition stands:
- Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz
- Augustum Annen Gymnasium in Görlitz
- Dietrich Heise Schule in Görlitz
- DPFA-Schulen gGmbH, Bildungszentrum Görlitz.
