The incident occurred on Thursday, 16 April. After 1:40 p.m., firefighters from Nowogrodziec were sent to Gierałtów for an unusual rescue operation. The operation involved getting a cat out from a depth of approximately 7 metres.
– We placed a ladder in the well, and the animal climbed up it on its own, using its paws, until it reached the top. In this case, the cat made the rescue operation easier for us – the firefighters wrote on their Facebook account.
