Even before the competition began, it was clear that the rivalry would be at a very high level, thanks to the excellently prepared competitors from all the units taking part. In particular, the soldiers of the 17th Greater Poland Mechanized Brigade (17WBZ) from Międzyrzecz, the 6th Airborne Brigade (6BDP) from Kraków, and the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment (23pa) from Bolesławiec should be mentioned.
After the qualifying rounds, the differences between the teams were minimal, as demonstrated by the 17WBZ’s lead of just 1 point over the 10BKPanc. This situation proved highly motivating for the armored soldiers, who tipped the scales in their favor in the final and, after the first day of competition, held a 2-point lead over the soldiers from Międzyrzecz.
The final day of the championships, when three relay events were held, promised to be very interesting. After a lengthy discussion among the coaches and an in-depth analysis, the soldiers whose results had so far been the most optimal were selected to compete for the 10BKPanc.
Fantastic—that is the only way to describe what the armored soldiers achieved: they won two relays and finished third in one. In this way, the soldiers from Świętoszów decisively outperformed the 17WBZ and won the title of the best swimmers in the 11LDKpanc. The 21BSP from Rzeszów took third place, finishing one point ahead of the 23pa from Bolesławiec.
