Before a large audience, the young people transported us back to the time of Jesus’ trial, seeking an answer to the question: was Jesus of Nazareth rightly sentenced to death on the cross?
A total of 13 fantastic young actors took part in the performance, presenting the trial of Christ with great commitment.
The play depicts contemporary Israelites who take on the roles of people participating in the trial.
We can see Caiaphas, Pilate, and Jesus’ disciples. The entire trial is conducted by judges and a prosecutor.
The young actors were rewarded with thunderous applause, and the audience gathered in the church was deeply impressed. As a token of appreciation for their commitment, the parish priest presented the actors with gifts. The young people, in turn, thanked the KSM supervisor for the time devoted to them, support, and the moments they spent together.
The parishioners of Tomaszów Bolesławiecki are already looking forward to further initiatives by the KSM youth and hope that performances during Lent will become a tradition in our town.
